Project Result 01

Aims to promote diversity within the cybersecurity workforce by outlining steps and actions to create a more inclusive professional environment for women and disadvantaged groups. It addresses the existing skills gap and the lack of diversity in cybersecurity by developing a comprehensive workforce strategy and adult learning solutions to prepare professionals for cybersecurity and business resilience roles. The result will identify necessary skills, define the profile of a cybersecurity professional, and explore the barriers women and underrepresented groups face in entering the field. Key results include the development of industry-driven curricula, modular training tools, and a roadmap for increasing workforce diversity.

Project Result 02

Developing structured training materials to equip target groups with the theoretical and practical skills required to join the cybersecurity profession. The training will be divided into five key chapters: cybersecurity and business resilience essentials, emerging technologies, the theory behind system attacks and defenses, cybersecurity’s ethical and social implications, and building confidence and self-esteem in the profession. These chapters will be adapted to the needs of the target groups and delivered in a blended learning format, combining theoretical foundations with practical case studies from five European countries. The training will be compiled into an online e-book and hosted on the project’s digital platform, ensuring accessibility in multiple languages. The work package aims to break barriers for women and disadvantaged groups by not only providing technical skills but also addressing fears and biases.

It focuses on the development of a comprehensive learning platform designed to support workforce upskilling for entry into the cybersecurity profession while increasing the resilience of the European digital economy. The platform will serve as a centralized hub where training materials, tools, and resources are accessible in multiple languages, ensuring inclusivity and widespread accessibility. It will offer a customizable and self-paced learning experience, allowing users to advance at their own speed, making it ideal for professionals and SMEs with limited time and resources. The platform will not only deliver content but also track learner progress, provide feedback, and generate reports, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation to the needs of target groups. Designed to promote cybersecurity awareness and diversity, the platform will empower women and disadvantaged groups by providing essential skills and reducing barriers to entering the profession, while also supporting VET trainers in delivering effective cybersecurity education across Europe.
